Sermorelin Peptides GHRP and Benefits of HGH 5 (4)

Sermorelin Peptides GHRP and Benefits of HGH

Sermorelin peptides GHRP and benefits of hGH are undeniable. However, when using injectable exogenous HGH (GH not produced naturally by our body) our bodies go from producing low amounts of GH to essentially producing no GH. The reason this occurs is that the body becomes completely dependent on the exogenous hGH. As incredible as it is to have higher levels of GH in your body, it’s extremely important to cater to the health of your pituitary gland to ensure long-term health and positive results. So how do you get your pituitary gland to start working again? More importantly, how do you get it to work harder and more efficiently for an individual your age or with your particular abnormal pituitary condition? This is a job for Sermorelin peptide GHRP peptides.

Sermorelin Acetate, sermorelin, sermorelin therapy

Sermorelin

  • Sermorelin peptides (GHRH) is a bio-identical hormone that has recently been genetically engineered to stimulate the secretion of Growth Hormone releasing hormone from the hypothalamus. GHRH is a peptide that contains the first 29 amino acids of the 191 in GH. It is GHRH that stimulates your pituitary gland to release GH. As we age, hormone production in the pituitary gland declines. It has been proven that HGRH can restore the production levels of the pituitary causing significant elevation of IGF-1.

Peptides

  1. One of the major functions of peptides is to work as hormones because these are a specific type of peptide responsible for carrying signals between cells and glands. These peptides will control blood sugar regulation, sleep, and other body functions. They are created by the liver, intestine, stomach, kidneys and endocrine glands. Common peptides found in hormones include oxytocins, gastrins, bradykinins, human growth hormone and insulin.
  2. – The brain produces neuropeptides, which you find in neural tissue. They are an extension of your neuro system throughout your body, meaning that they act as regulators and signals in various processes triggered from locations within the brain. One example of neuropeptides would be endorphins.
  3. – Alkaloids are another type of peptide and they are commonly involved in developing defense mechanisms in small animals, plants, and fungi. Examples of these peptides include dynorphin, panda mini, and ergotamine.
  4. – When peptides work as antibiotics, they prevent microorganisms from growing within the body. This is an example of using peptides side effects to kill bacteria that cause diseases as antibiotics are commonly used in medicine.
  5. – The peptide can help support our body. This is because when peptide chains become long enough, it will form proteins, which are used as building blocks of animal and human bodies. Keratin is a perfect example as this protein is in human nails and hair and animal claws, hooves, scales, feathers, and horns. Collagen is another protein created from peptides and is found in bones, tooth enamel, ligaments, and tendons.

GHRP’s

  • GHRP’s are a small family of peptides acting in the hypophyseal portal system to release Growth Hormone (GH). There are two main forms of GHRP, which will be depicted further below, that are compounded into the Sermorelin Peptides GHRP mixture. The end result, Sermorelin GHRP2 or Sermorelin GHRP6, is an especially potent and effective Growth Hormone inducing agent that can generate comparable results to a typical, yet considerably more costly, hGH therapy protocol.

GHRP2

  • Growth-Hormone-Releasing-Peptide-Two (GHRP2) is a synthetic ghrelin analogue. It stimulates the hypothalamus and critically increases the natural production of Growth Hormone (GH) from the pituitary gland, which slowly drops back to baseline levels by the third hour after administration. This more closely replicates the natural pulse of GH in the human body, giving it an advantage over synthetic HGH use

– GHRP-2 (also known as KP 102) is a synthetic hexapeptide Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide (GHRP) which acts on the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland to release growth hormone with a slight stimulatory effect on Prolactin, ACTH, and Cortisol levels.

– GHRP-2 is considered to be a true hGH secretagogue, meaning that it stimulates the body’s own secretion of hGH. Human Growth hormone has been shown in studieshttps://www.aaiclinics.com/treatments/hgh-therapy/what-is-human-growth-hormone/ to promote lean body mass and reduce adiposity (fat).

– GHRP2 has demonstrated that it is very effective at stimulating GH production in research test subjects.

– It has a short half-life with peak concentrations occurring around 15 minutes and not longer than 60 minutes after administration.

– GHRP-2 is a 2nd generation GHRP just behind GHRP-6. Compared to GHRP-6, GHRP-2 is considered to be much more superior in terms of growth hormone stimulation because over longer periods of time it maintains maximum elevations in Growth Hormone.

– GHRP-2 has shown to increase IGF-1 levels (Insulin-like Growth Factor-1), and even greater results happen when used with Sermorelin Peptides GHRP (Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone – GHRH). It has a short half-life with peak concentrations occurring around 15 minutes but not longer than 60 minutes. The response of natural physiologic system includes the increase in levels of calcium ion influx alongside with increased release of growth hormones in response to the high-amplitude pulsation from the GHRP-2.

– GHRP-2 and other ghrelin analogues increase the number of somatotropes involved in the GH pulse by inhibiting somatostatin, GHRH increases the pulse amplitude per pituitary cell or somatotrope by other means.

-Unlike ghrelin, GHRP-2 is not lipogenic which means that it does not induce fat storage. Although ghrelin plays a large role in hunger, GHRP-2 as an analog of ghrelin does not increase appetite significantly.

GHRP6

  • Growth-Hormone-Releasing-Peptide-Six (GHRP6) is a Growth Hormone (GH) secretagogue. The Peptide GHRP-6 works similarly to GHRP-2, however, it is a Hexapeptide that promotes food intake by stimulating hunger and helps increase energy metabolism.

Growth Hormone Releasing Peptides, similar to GHRP-6, are most commonly used for the treatment of Growth Hormone (GH) deficiencies, eating disorders, etc.

– Researchers discovered that those GH-Releasing Peptides (specifically GHRP-6 & GHRP-2) followed a mode of action, which bound them to and was mediated through receptors different from those for GHRH.

– Researchers discovered that these GH-Releasing Peptides acted synergistically with the natural human Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH), which is related to Sermorelin Peptides GHRP, in both laboratory animals and humans to produce large releases of Growth Hormone.

– In the 1980s, the first highly potent GH-Releasing peptide, GHRP-6, was developed. Due to a strong GH release response from the peptide, it became the first member of a class called Growth Hormone Secretagogues.

– GHRP-6 is believed to be acting naturally on both pituitary and hypothalamic sites (Fairhall et al. 1995). In a time-dependent and dose-dependent manner, the primary pituitary cells of rats were demonstrated on.

  • Both GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 have great benefit and potential. Studies have shown them to be effective in treating age-related GH decline when used in combination with Sermorelin (GHRH).

GHRP’s when used in equal dosages of GHRH creates a 3-hour pulse of GH that is double the amplitude of 8IU of synthetic GH, resulting in:

a) increased energy

b) improved sleep

c) increased lean body mass

d) decreased body fat

e) increased collagen production and

f) increased healing capability.

These factors not only make it more effective but actually a healthier substitute to Exogenous Growth Hormone.

Overview: Sermorelin Peptides,
Sermorelin GHRP2 & 6 Peptides

Use of Sermorelin usually improves sleep within the first few weeks of therapy. This is usually concurrent with increased energy levels and improved mood. After 3-6 months of therapy, patients start reporting noticeable or significant body changes, such as the increase in muscle tone and leaner physique. Over time patients will also notice a significant improvement in skin tone and health. Like most peptide hormones, Sermorelin Peptides GHRP usually has a loading period of 3-6 months before full effects are noticed. Once injected, both Sermorelin Peptides GHRP are eliminated very quickly from the body and therefore need to be injected frequently. Its actions are dependent on a chain reaction of biological processes which result in elevated and sustained HGH and growth factors.

When considering Growth Hormone Therapy, personal preference and disposition are always the determining factors. However, Sermorelin Peptides GHRPs is a wonderful option to getting you back your vitality and youth.

What Can I Expect from Sermorelin Injection? 5 (2)

What Can I Expect from Sermorelin Injections

Sermorelin Injections Therapy, what can I expect from it? We can actually make this very, very simple. Sermorelin IS an hGH therapy. Participating in Sermorelin therapy results in the manifestation of the same exact results that entice a patient to partake in an hGH therapy. The goal is to elevate Growth Hormone levels, which in turn raises IGF-1 levels. The only difference is administering hGH is the direct infusion of the synthesized GH agent while injecting Sermorelin only incites your own production of GH.

This fact actually makes Sermorelin injections much safer to take, as it is stimulating your own, natural production of the hormone. The process serves to stimulate and rejuvenate the pituitary. Conversely, HGH therapy can cause atrophy of the pituitary if it’s improperly administered and interferes with normal GH production periods.

The receptivity of the body to the therapy is also greatly increased. Because Sermorelin stimulates normal Growth Hormone release patterns, it is occurring in its natural, pulsating fashion. As a result, it enters the blood stream as is most prevalently bioavailable and can help promote better results while keeping any side effects even further away.

Let us look at a chart detailing what can be expected during the first six months of Sermorelin therapy:

Sermorelin Injections Therapy

Our website is full of bullet points outlining as simple and concise as possible the basic, statistically recorded benefits experienced by patients studied on hormone therapy around the world. We wanted to dedicate the below section to actual patients of AAI that have been through an AAI physician organized Sermorelin protocol. The experiences below have been specifically requested by our AAI Wellness Advisors to each individual patient and approved by him or her to put on this page. Of course, the names have been changed to protect their privacy. The comments have been minimally edited to focus on relevancy. To help you answer the question: What can I expect from Sermorelin injections therapy?

  • Mark Schultz – NC – (…) but it’s cool that the doctor didn’t give me a hard time about just wanting to do hGH instead of the other stuff (Sermorelin). I just really didn’t think it’d be as good. I was told a lot that hGH was just stronger and was gonna give me better results so, if I was going to spend my money, I need it to be effective. I still want to thank you though _____, for insisting that I get permission from the doctor to just give it a try. The good thing is since I tried the other stuff (hGH) first I could actually compare it (…). Three months into this stuff (Sermorelin) and I’ve only seen more and better physical results. I actually lost 6 pounds in the first 10 days so, I’m happy. Cool stuff _____. You’re a good man.
  • Sabrina Wilson – TX – Oh, I’m so happy to write this out for you _____. Thank you for asking. I’ve been telling all my friends actually. I just wanted to lose a few pounds, remember like I told you? Well, though, I was a little discouraged at first. Because I thought it wasn’t working. But you were right. (…) after those few couple of weeks, everything just started changing. I spoke with Dr. Larry about it b/c I swear it’s just been helping me with all my other hormones. I can just feel it, you know what I mean? (…)
  • Mary Correa – FL – (…) absolutely everything you told me it I could expect. I’m telling you I was losing myself. When a person can’t sleep for x number of days in a row something bad starts to happen to ya. So, like I told you 8 days, 2 hours a day, I was having trouble just spelling my name. So that first day that I took the Sermorelin injections and I actually knocked out and stayed knocked out, that was some $#@&! You guys better never go anywhere!!!!
  • Javier Gonzalez – GA– I knew about it because of my field (…) it’s discussed around me a lot. Most of the time you hear about the hard stuff and you don’t even know where these people are getting it from so when the doc really broke it down for me, I figured for the price I should try it. I gotta tell you, totally unexpected. You know they tell you-you gotta wait some weeks and (…) but I felt this the NEXT day. I slept so good man I was just ready the next day. Alert! I’ve been telling my buddy (…) so you guys better hook me up when he calls you. Ha!
  • Gina Carrano – (FL) – (…) and I’ve been telling her how much it is worked to [help my libido]. She wanted me to share with her to see how she felt I told her I don’t think so! Lol. Aside from that, you were right. I don’t feel like the old lady at the gym anymore and I definitely don’t need to wait 3 days in between that cycling class anymore. By the next day, I’m myself again and can push harder. Thank you for that. You don’t know what it feels like to start NOTICING that you are getting old. it sucks.

What are the benefits of Sermorelin Therapy? 5 (1)

What are the benefits of Sermorelin Therapy?

The benefits of Sermorelin, This subject is a very simple one to cover, as, patients who have been interested in participating in Sermorelin therapy have usually gone through the process of educating themselves and understanding the more popular HGH therapy program. It’s important to understand that Sermorelin is a Growth Hormone therapy, the same as HGH is.

What can hGH do

The primary differences between an hGH therapy and a Sermorelin therapy are the following:

  • hGH therapy – the introduction of direct hGH (bio-identical human growth hormone – an exact lab-created replica of GH as the human body produces) into the bloodstream allows therapy participants to manipulate the amount of human Growth Hormone in their system. The more HGH is administered, the higher their IGF-1 levels will be.Retrospectively, it’s imperative to understand that high levels of hGH or IGF-1 do not constitute more or better benefits. On the contrary, you must administer an exact dosage, as determined by your medical profile and file characteristics. Excessive dosages of HGH will bring about unwanted side effects. It’s of paramount importance that patients only administer hGH in dosages prepared by their prescribing physician. If a participant of hGH therapy is interested in higher dosages, it would be in their best interest to discuss these ideas openly with their prescribing physician. These subjects are no longer taboo and there should be an open dialog in order to maximize the assurance of a successful, healthy program with little to no negative side effects.
  • Sermorelin therapy – the introduction of Sermorelin therapy into the blood stream invites the secretion of the participant’s own growth hormone to be produced and discharged by the hypothalamus and pituitary gland. If a patient has a well-functioning pituitary, the promoting of this overproduction of GH will result in health benefits that mirror those of an hGH therapy participant’s program. The benefit of selecting Sermorelin over hGH can be the fact that:

a) Because Sermorelin is self-regulating, you can’t accidentally administer too much of it. Anything that is administered and not utilized by the body is eliminated.

b) Sermorelin will induce your own production of GH, which means that what is released into the body comes out in pulsating form, as happens naturally, mainly during REM sleep, when the endocrine system is most active.

c) Despite it producing results and benefits that mirror those of a brand HGH protocol, Sermorelin therapy can be as much as 50% less expensive than the traditional HGH protocol, though resulting in almost the same results.

d) Contrary to the fact that your body stops its own production of HGH if it finds that IGF-1 levels are already high due to the external administration via HGH injection, which can eventually cause atrophy and functionality issues of the pituitary gland, Sermorelin rejuvenates and stimulates the pituitary gland. The benefits of  Sermorelin actually helps the pituitary by inspiring production and secretion of the participant’s natural Growth Hormone.

Do I Need Sermorelin, or Hormone Replacement 5 (1)

Do I Need Sermorelin?

Do I Need Sermorelin, If you have decided that you want to undergo some form of hormone-replacement therapy because of low GH, you might ask why you should choose sermorelin rather than HGH itself, which could seem to be an extra step?

First and foremost, to qualify for a GH-stimulating treatment program at AAI Clinics then you must have reduced circulating GH levels. This is usually caused by natural aging or deficient endogenous GH production. This may be the result of an injury, a tumor, the therapies used to treat a tumor, a genetic predisposition, or a condition that began at birth.

What can hGH do

Anyone that has participated in an HGH protocol for 6 months or more should consider switching to sermorelin if only to stimulate pituitary activity. Remember that when you artificially manipulate your GH and hence IGF-1 levels using hGH therapy, the pituitary does not need to work as hard because GH and IGF-1 levels in the blood remain elevated. Extended periods of pituitary inactivity could eventually lead to atrophy of the pituitary gland. (Do I Need Sermorelin) Sermorelin therapy would be a good way of allowing the pituitary gland to recover and restore normal functionality while still retaining elevated GH and IGF-1 levels.

Younger patients that have completed the required blood tests and find that their IGF-1 (representative of their GH levels) levels are lower than normal for a person of their age and file details may be interested in starting with a sermorelin protocol in an effort to stimulate their pituitary gland and activate natural GH production. We do not recommend that patients aged under 40 years participate in hGH therapy without first trying sermorelin because of consideration for the overall, long-term health of the pituitary gland and the patient as a whole. The aim should be to help your own body produce healthy levels of GH for as long as possible. A patient should only move to a more intense program, such as direct hGH administration, once Sermorelin treatment is deemed to have failed.

In addition to the decreased risks associated with sermorelin therapy, a physician-supervised and orchestrated sermorelin protocol can be significantly more cost-effective than an HGH program while still producing comparable results for patients with a well-functioning pituitary gland.

Contact us at AAI Rejuvenation Clinic and allow us to process an IGF-1 test for you to determine if you are suffering from a low GH production, which could ultimately manifest as age-related illnesses and physical manifestations. If you are not quite feeling right lately, you owe it to yourself to at least test your hormone levels. AAI Clinics puts you under no further obligation and you will experience absolutely NO pressure from anyone in our organization. It’s our motto.

If you process your blood work through us we can send you to a nearby LabCorp location (we only need your zip code), and you will have your results within 24 business hours. You will get a copy of your records, again, with no further obligation.

Why do I need Sermorelin, You may ask yourself? 5 (1)

Why do I need Sermorelin therapy?

Do I need Sermorelin, You may ask yourself, why would I need Sermorelin therapy or, why not just go for HGH directly, instead of Sermorelin therapy, which seems to be an extra step”?

  • First and foremost, the need for a Growth Hormone stimulating therapy program would be rooted in the fact that the participant has an existing deficiency in his or her own natural Growth Hormone production. This may be as a result of injury, a tumor, therapies to treat a tumor, genetic predisposition or a condition dealt with from birth.
  • Anyone that has participated in an HGH protocol that extended for 6 months or more should consider Sermorelin therapy; if only to stimulate an underworked pituitary. Remember, when IGF-1 levels are being externally manipulated through hGH therapy, the pituitary doesn’t need to work as hard, as IGF-1 levels in the blood have been maintained at a healthy level through this additional source. Extended periods of the pituitary not needing to work/produce due to maintained, elevated IGF-1 levels through hGH therapy, may eventually cause atrophy of the pituitary. In this instance, Sermorelin therapy would be imperative to resuscitating the pituitary and bringing it back to normal functionality, as Sermorelin serves to regenerate and even rejuvenate the pituitary gland.
  • Younger patients that have completed the required blood tests and find that their IGF-1 (representative of their GH levels) levels are lower than normal for a person of their age and file details may be interested in starting with a Sermorelin protocol in an effort to stimulate their pituitary and regulate their Growth Hormone levels. It is not recommended for needing patients under the age of 40 to participate in hGH therapy without first trying Sermorelin therapy if we are keeping into account the overall, the later health of the pituitary, and patient as a whole. The intention should be to assist your own body in its production of growth hormone for as long as it’s possible to stimulate healthy levels to be promoted. Only once Sermorelin therapy is deemed ineffective for anyone patient should they move on to a more intense program, such as direct HGH administration.
  • Above and beyond all the benefits associated with participating in a physician-supervised and orchestrated Sermorelin protocol is the fact that a Sermorelin protocol can be significantly more cost-effective than an HGH program while being able to produce comparable results for patients with a well-functioning pituitary.

Contact us at AAI Rejuvenation Clinic and allow us to process an IGF-1 test for you so you can determine if you are suffering from a low production of Growth Hormone which will ultimately manifest itself in age-related illnesses and physical manifestations. If you are not quite feeling like yourself lately, you owe it to yourself to at least test your hormone levels. AAI Clinics puts you under no further obligation and you will experience absolutely NO pressure from anyone in our organization. It’s our motto.

Erectile Dysfunction and Hormones Issues In Men 5 (2)

Erectile Dysfunction and
Hormones Issues In Men

Erectile Dysfunction can be a sign of a physical or hormone condition. It can cause stress, relationship strain, and low self-confidence.

The main symptom is a man’s inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. Patients suffering from erectile dysfunction should first be evaluated for any underlying physical and psychological conditions.

The Danger of Low Testosterone, Risks Associated with Low hGH in Men, HGH Side Effects, What Causes Low Testosterone, testosterone therapy preventive medicine

Human Growth Hormone (HGH Therapy) has been used to reverse or correct issues of erectile dysfunction and other sexually impending disorders:

  • At the cellular level, HGH Therapy increases protein synthesis and cell division involved in the regrowth of organs.
  • On the tissue level, HGH Therapy increases nitrogen retention which builds muscle mass.
  • On the hormonal level, HGH provides direct feedback between the pituitary hormones and the gonadal normal hormones of the ovaries and testes.
  • On the systemic level, The Human Growth hormone improves cardiac function and circulation of blood to all parts of the body. When more blood is pumped into the penis, erections are firmer and can be sustained longer.
  • Taking HGH is enough to bring testosterone levels to normal in many men.
  • HGH therapy improves the effect of reproductive hormones in the production of sperm and eggs.
  • HGH sensitizes nerve endings, providing more pleasure.
  • The Growth hormone increases HDL-cholesterol. Studies suggest raising the level of HDL cholesterol escalates the likelihood of an erection, possibly by increasing peripheral circulation via the plaque removing properties of HDL.

Testosterone Therapy Improves Sexual Interest In Older Men, the Older men with low libido and low testosterone levels showed more interest in sex and engaged in more sexual activity when they underwent testosterone therapy, according to a new study published in the Endocrine Society’s Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.

The study of Testosterone Therapy Improves Sexual Interests the most significant placebo-trial in older men conducted. The sexual function study is part of the Testosterone Injections Trials, a series of seven studies examining the effectiveness of testosterone therapy in men who are 65 or older, who have low testosterone levels and are experiencing symptoms of low testosterone deficiency. The research is supported primarily by the National Institutes of Health.

Testosterone is an essential male sex hormone help in maintaining Libido, sex drive, erectile function, and sperm production, and much more. The Endocrine Society’s Clinical Practice Guideline recommends using testosterone therapy to treat men with symptoms of androgen deficiency and low testosterone levels.

In the past 50 years, the use of injectable testosterone therapy has rapidly expanded among men population. Testosterone levels decline as men age, as early as 30 years old and some men develop low testosterone symptoms.

The placebo-controlled effect and double-blinded trial examined the effect of injectable testosterone therapy on sexual function in a group of 470 men. The men were in the study through 12 academic medical control centers. The participants were at least 65 years old and older, with low testosterone levels, based on the average results of multiple tests.

Testosterone Therapy Improves Sexual Interest, The men treated with injectable testosterone therapy displayed consistent improvement in libido and 10 of the 12 sexual activity measurements, nighttime erections, masturbation, and including frequency of intercourse. In comparison, men who received the placebo testosterone did not change their responses over the year-long medical study done.

How Can I Balance My Thyroid 5 (3)

Balance Thyroid

The Balance thyroid and adrenal glands (those producing cortisol) are the key regulators of the body. If the Thyroid and Cortisol levels are not right, the rest of the body will NOT function well. This is why these central hormones must be treated along with Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone, & Human Growth Hormone.

Thyroid

Many patients, especially women in their 30’s & 40’s, are diagnosed with Hypothyroidism or an underactive thyroid by their primary care physician or endocrinologist. These doctors only diagnose cases of overt or severe deficiencies–we call it clinical Hypothyroidism. If a patient has some or all of the classical symptoms of Hypothyroidism, but the blood tests are within the normal range of values, no thyroid replacement therapy is given to relieve these symptoms. So what happens to patients that test on the low side of “normal” &/or suffers hypothyroid symptoms? These patients have subclinical hypothyroidismEstimates are that 20-40% of the population suffers in some way from sub-clinical hypothyroidism. We were taught in medical school to only treat those patients with overt thyroid deficiencies; there was no such thing as “subclinical” hypothyroidism. The philosophy was: patients are deficient or not, everything else in the middle is perfectly normal. With the advent of Anti-Aging Medicine, everybody is treated to create an optimal balance of hormones & to obtain the hormonal levels of our youth. Be it sub-clinical or clinical hypothyroidism, severe or mild deficiency, patients do not have to endure hypothyroid symptoms and the negative effects these causes in the body and their hormones.

What are the symptoms of hypothyroidism or underactive thyroid?

A “sluggish” thyroid can cause a range of symptoms from cold hands & feet, chronic fatigue, hair loss/thinning, low libido, and depression to weight gain and inability to lose weight…in short, symptoms of slow metabolism. Also, pale/leathery skin, stiff joints, atherosclerosis, easy bruising, muscle cramps, persistent low back pain, mental sluggishness, emotional instability with crying spells, temper tantrums, mood swings, and increased susceptibility to colds, viruses, & respiratory illnesses.

How does an underactive thyroid affect the other hormones in the body?

Because hormones are mutually-dependent, a deficiency of one can create excesses of another, and vice versa, with numerous possibilities for imbalance and unhealthy symptoms. Imbalances of estrogen, progesterone, and cortisol are linked to low thyroid. 80% of low thyroid patients have low cortisol or “Adrenal Fatigue” and vice versa. Many studies have found that Human Growth Hormone (HGH) levels are very low in Hypothyroid patients and when hGH is replaced in these people, the thyroid is usually normalized. Low Testosterone levels are also found in Hypothyroid patients (especially men) and Testosterone replacement therapy significantly improves their thyroid function.

Why do patients with an underactive thyroid never feel “normal” again and experience residual symptoms?

Thyroid replacement therapy (especially synthetic versions like “Synthroid”, “Levothyroxine”, etc) improves some of the hypothyroid patient symptoms, but virtually everyone complains they are never the same person after having thyroid problems. This is because they are not completely treated! They may be treated for their thyroid deficiency, but all the other hormones are out of balance or in abnormal levels in the body. It is crucial to test ALL hormones and treat ALL hormonal imbalances at the same time to be able to get back to the peak of health.

How do I know if I have a “sluggish” or underactive thyroid?

If you answered yes to 2 or more of the symptoms in this questionnaire, you may benefit from natural thyroid supplementation.

What do I do if I am already on thyroid replacement therapy?

First, we will test the Balance thyroid and gather all the patient symptoms in order to determine how the patient is responding to the current therapy. At this point, we will be able to switch from synthetic to Bio-Identical thyroid replacement therapy and fine-tune the dose. It is important to also test for Cortisol, Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone, and Human Growth Hormone levels to detect any imbalances and treat them at the same time as the Balance thyroid. We always treat the patient as a whole, not only the test result.

How can I balance my thyroid?
  1.  First, determine your symptoms
  2.  Then, test your thyroid levels (this involves 5-7 blood tests, not just the 1usual test that your doctor gets)
  3.  Find a board-certified doctor in Anti-Aging Medicine (specializing in Bio-Identical hormonal therapy)
  4.  Detoxification is a key component of your Balance thyroid to work at its maximum potential
  5.  Always Supplement with Nutriceuticals (pharmaceutical-grade nutritional supplements that are prescription strength, free of harmful contaminants, and actually absorbed by the body)-only way to have the available building blocks to regenerate the body’s tissues and to work properly
  6.  ALWAYS use a Bio-Identical thyroid hormone (the exact chemical structure as the hormones produced by the body and derived from a natural source)
  7.  STOP all synthetic hormones-Premarin, Provera, Progestins, and birth control pills, pellets, injections, & intrauterine devices (They ALL contain synthetic hormones)-the imbalances caused by these hormones usually affect Balance thyroid
  8.  Use “hormone-free” foods and products
  9.  Minimize stress and use stress-handling techniques like yoga, meditation, prayer, 10. Stop smoking ASAP
  10.  Eat more fiber
  11.  Get deep, restful, uninterrupted 7-8 hours of sleep-this is the only way that body tissues regenerate after being used during the day.
